THE TWELVE DAYS OF CHRISTMAS MESSIANIC PROPHECIES-DAY FOUR

Greetings Family and Friends,

I have to confess to you I feel extremely blessed and humbled to be doing this series

about the Messiah – Jesus.  At times it has seemed daunting and definitely a challenge,

but so edifying!

Biblical Prophecy  is history written in advance.  It is authentic evidence to validate the

Bible‘s claims of  Divine inspiration.

Bethlehem was so insignificant in size and population.  It seems that God loves to do His

great miracles and wonders among weak and insignificant things; even people.

It Was Prophesied that Messiah Would be Born in Bethlehem

The Prophecy – Micah 5:2

But thou,

Bethlehem Ephratah,

though thou be little among the thousands of Judah,

yet out of thee shall He come forth unto Me

that is to be Ruler in Israel;

Whose goings forth have been from of old,

from everlasting.

It was Fulfilled in Luke 2:4-7

And Joseph also went up from Galilee,

out of the city of Nazareth,

into Judaea,

unto the city of David,

which is called Bethlehem;

(because he was of the house and lineage of David:)

 To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with Child.

And so it was, that,

while they were there,

the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.

And she brought forth her firstborn Son,

and wrapped Him in swaddling clothes,

and laid Him in a manger;

because there was no room for them

in the inn.

Isn’t it an amazing fact that God in His Almighty power and Omnipotence would have

such a fantastical plan whereby mankind could be redeemed?

That the Father would send His Son with Whom He inhabited eternity,

to come to earth in the weakest form as a baby?

 A helpless babe with all the limitations a baby is born with.

Have a great Christmas Holiday!  Thank you for stopping by.
