JESUS HEALS BROKEN HEARTS

Thou hast made us for Thyself,

O Lord,

and our hearts are restless

until it finds its rest in Thee.

The first step to healing is to forgive the repentant offender when he or she asks.

If the offender refuses to repent, then it would be wrong to forgive their evil acts.

We are not called to forgive evil, but to forgive the repentant.

It is difficult for emotional wounds to heal

when the guilty party continues to commit the same crime.

In such a case, the victim can choose to release themselves from their victimhood

by setting the offense aside,

and committing the offense and the offender into God’s hands.

This way, the victim is free from the burden and God can take over the situation.

Unforgiveness and bitterness are like an infection,

and where the offender seeks no forgiveness,

at least the victim can be free from the offense incurred in turning it all over to God.

Without allowing God to remove the offense, recovery is hampered.

You must release yourself from the offenses committed by others-

and if they ask you to forgive, then God can help you to forgive.

You must find release through Jesus in order to free yourself from hurt of the offense.

Once the Lord has healed you of your pain,

your life can then be a compelling testimony to the power of the Holy Spirit.

Matthew 6:14-15

For if ye forgive men their trespasses,

your heavenly Father will also forgive you:

But if ye forgive not men their trespasses,

neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

We need to find through Jesus a release from the offense

and from the hurt incurred by those who broke our heart so we can be whole.

This does not mean that you condone what they did,

but you release them from the guilt of their offense

by forgiving them when they ask for your forgiveness.

There is freedom for both parties in repentance and forgiveness!

Isaiah 61:1

The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me;

because the Lord hath anointed me

to preach good tidings unto the meek;

He hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,

What can I give Him,

Poor as I am?

If I were a shepherd,

I would bring Him a lamb.

If I were a wise man,

I would do my part-

Yet what can I give him:

Give Him my heart.

When you’re crying yourself to sleep,

know that Jesus is lending His shoulder to you.

When you’re pushed to the ground,

know that Jesus is holding out His hands to you.

When you feel like dying,

know that Jesus died to let you live.

When you feel like no one loves you,

know that Jesus loves you more than you can imagine.

Rom 10:9-10

That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus,

and shall believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead,

you shall be saved.

For with the heart man believes unto righteousness;

and with the mouth confession is made unto Salvation.

Rom 10:13

For whosoever shall call upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved!

A simple prayer from your heart to make Jesus your Savior:

Lord, I know that I’m a sinner-

I believe that Jesus Christ died in my place and paid for all my sins-

Save me now and make me Your child.

Amen.

The day you encounter Jesus

is your last day alone!
