Family and Friends,

No matter how great and vast is our God’s great universe,

He has the time and has the love to care for every one of his children.

Jesus loves all the children of the world, big ones and little ones alike!

Light reminds us that God is Light, provides direction, and eliminates darkness.

Light also shows  how we can and ought to be a light to the world.

Isaiah 42:4-7

Thus saith God the Lord,

He that created the heavens,

and stretched them out;

He that spread forth the earth,

and that which cometh out of it;

He that giveth breath unto the people upon it,

and spirit to them that walk therein:

I the Lord have called thee in righteousness,

and will hold thine hand,

and will keep thee,

and give thee for a Covenant of the people,

for a Light of the Gentiles;

To open the blind eyes,

to bring out the prisoners from the prison,

and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.

John 8:12

Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying,

I am the Light of the world:

he that followeth Me shall not walk in darkness,

but shall have the Light of Life.

God loves each of us as if there were only one of us.

John 3:16

 For God so loved the world,

that He gave His only begotten Son,

that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish,

but have Everlasting Life.

Romans 5:8

 But God commendeth His love toward us,

in that,

while we were yet sinners,

Christ died for us.

Grace means to get something that you do not deserve; unmerited favor.

His greatest act of grace is the Gift of Salvation that is available for all people through faith.

When the Gift is accepted, Eternal Life is imparted to the recipient!

Ephesians 2:8-9

 For by Grace are ye saved through faith;

and that not of yourselves:

it is the Gift of God:

 Not of works,

lest any man should boast.

2 Corinthians 12:8-10

For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.

 And he said unto me,

My Grace is sufficient for thee:

for My strength is made perfect in weakness.

Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities,

that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

In her book, “KIsses From Katie,” Katie Davis shares about a young girl in Uganda that was in her kindergarten class.

Her name is Sumini who was five years old but looked to be only 3 years old.

She was thrilled to be learning the alphabet and loved to color and sing .

Katie says when she sang, her little voice was high pitched.

Katie nursed and prayed her back to health when she was fighting for her life.

Little Sumini had an enlarged spleen and liver due to severe malnutrition.

Doctors gave her little hope, but little Sumini was a fighter and had no discouraged bone in her body.

She lived and God’s glory was displayed in her life.

Her liver and spleen miraculously  began to shrink back to normal size.

( this is not Sumini, just a picture to share)

Katie shares:

” Sumini is tiny for her age but has a huge personality to make up for it.

She is ever active.

I rarely catch her walking but always running, skipping, jumping, climbing.

Sumini is kind and fair.  She doesn’t ever want anyone to feel left out or left behind.

She shares what she has and makes sure those around her always feel included and important.

Sumini loves to create and is always making something new games, pictures, food, anything.

I love watching her heart transform as she learns about Jesus and contributes so much joy to our family.”

 “Dear Lord, help me to step forward when others around me are suffering trials similar to what I’ve

experienced, and enable me to comfort others as YOU have comforted me.”
