For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without

effect? (Rom. 3:3).

I think that I can trace every scrap of sorrow in my life to simple unbelief. How could I

be anything but quite happy if I believed always that all the past is forgiven, and all the

present furnished with power, and all the future bright with hope because of the same

abiding facts which do not change with my mood, do not stumble because I totter and

stagger at the promise through unbelief, but stand firm and clear with their peaks of

pearl cleaving the air of Eternity, and the bases of their hills rooted unfathomably in

the Rock of God. Mont Blanc does not become a phantom or a mist because a climber

grows dizzy on its side.

Mont Blanc (15,781 feet) rises more than 12,000 vertical feet above the famous resort village of Chamonix, France. The epitome of everything that is “alpine” in the Alps, Mont Blanc beckons hikers and climbers from around the globe with its snow-white glaciers, sheer cliff walls and chalet-studded valleys.

To relax at a chic café in downtown Chamonix, gazing skyward at the glistening ramparts of the Mont Blanc Massif, is an amazing experience. To walk around the entire circumference of Western Europe’s tallest peak, and to witness Mont Blanc’s beauty from the vantages of three different countries, is something all together incomparable and infinitely special.

Hike across the borders of France, Italy and Switzerland during our ten-day hiking tour. Taking advantage of some little-known variations to the standard route, we’ll lead you from the mountain-chic cafés of Chamonix, to remote mountain hamlets en route to Courmayeur, Italy. Our gracious host will welcome you to her cozy chalet in Champex, Switzerland, tempting you with locally grown food and … Hike back into France on the Grand Balcon Sud, one of the most beautiful hiking trails in all of France.

Based out of a mix of charming county inns, first class, old world hotels and simple hiker’s hostelries, the unique combination of good accommodations and spectacular hiking makes this itinerary a wonderful reward for the physically fit

Tour Highlights:

A world famous hike that everybody should do at least once before they die.

Is it any wonder that, when we stagger at any promise of God through unbelief, we do not receive it? Not that faith merits an answer, or in any way earns it, or works it out; but God has made believing a condition of receiving, and the Giver has a sovereign right to choose His own terms of gift.
–Rev. Samuel Hart

Unbelief says, “How can such and such things be?” It is full of “hows”; but faith has one great answer to the ten thousand “hows,” and that answer is–GOD!
–C. H. M.

No praying man or woman accomplishes so much with so little expenditure of time as when he or she is praying.

If there should arise, it has been said–and the words are surely true to the thought of our Lord Jesus Christ in all His teaching on prayer—if there should arise ONE UTTERLY BELIEVING MAN, the history of the world might be changed.

Will YOU not be that one in the providence and guidance of God our Father?

–A. E. McAdam

Prayer without faith degenerates into objectless routine, or soulless hypocrisy. Prayer with faith brings Omnipotence to back our petitions. Better not pray unless and until your whole being responds to the efficacy of your supplication. When the true prayer is breathed, earth and heaven, the past and the future, say Amen. And Christ prayed such prayers.

-P. C. M.

Nothing lies beyond the reach of prayer except that which lies outside the will of God.

I asked my husband, “will you take me to Mont Blanc?”

Then I said, “of  course, we have to get into shape.”

Not to climb the mountain but to take the hiking tour.

Some might say, ” IMPOSSIBLE!”

Everyone’s Mont Blanc (dream or desire, however lofty )  will differ:

They may not physically  desire to visit Mont Blanc.

They may want to regain their health.

They may want a new life in Jesus.

They may want ……..

Some people associate old age with deterioration.  Why confess that, when the scripture says:

Joel 3:10

… let the weak say, I am strong.

Psalm 92:14

They shall still bring forth fruit in old age;
they shall be fat and flourishing;

One woman 79 years old went on a talent show, as was shared by a brother on Facebook, with a jaw-dropping, dance routine that defied her age.  She was tossed into the air by her dance partner, she was spun around holding onto his neck..  She performed a fantastic daring performance which would challenge a much younger person.

On strength training:

One effort, led by Tufts researcher Maria Fiatarone, M.D., showed that even frail nursing home residents in their nineties could build muscle and strength. Two study volunteers were even able to walk without needing their canes after the eight-week program.

Let’s go to Mont Blanc!

Today, I told a friend, “let’s go to Mont Blanc!”  She said, “what is that?”  I told her, “it’s a mountain in Europe.”  Without hesitation, she answered, “Let’s go!”  I exclaimed, “Let’s go!”  We laughed and I told her I would share with her later about Mont Blanc.  She , of course, didn’t know about this post, which made our exchange special!
