Psalm 100:6

Hello Family and Friends,

I hope you have a great Thanksgiving and enjoy the blessings of the Lord in your life.  Thanksgiving is a wonderful holiday and a time to enjoy a feast with loved ones.  When I was a child, we always had traditional Thanksgiving dinner with turkey, ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy , homemade pumpkin pie and all the trimmings.  It’s a tradition that I still love.

The Pilgrims had so much to thank the Lord for and celebrated with a feast of Thanksgiving unto the Lord.  A thankful heart is one of the bedrocks of Christianity.

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise: be thankful unto Him, and bless His name.

 Psalm 95:2

I will praise the name of  God with a song, and will magnify Him with thanksgiving.

Thank you Lord for the blessing of family and friends enjoying a feast that you have provided.

Thank you Lord for your bountiful blessings.

Thank You Lord for our troops in Afghanistan who couldn’t be home for Thanksgiving.
