Greetings Dear Family and Friends,
There is so much to thank God for as we travel in the western part of this beautiful
country. I was in awe as we recently stopped at an R.V. park for the night on the outskirts
of Raton, N.M. We were on the top of a mountain and could see the pine trees and other
trees below. The vista of mountain ranges was magnificent. But the most awe inspiring
view was when the sun went down and darkness covered the land. That was when the
Lord displayed His glorious heavenly bodies. It was as if you were seated in a
planetarium and looking up to see the handiwork of our great God. I don’t know if I ever
saw such a display before. Many stars loomed very large overhead. The backdrop was
dazzling as myriads of stars displayed their glory. We were atop a mountain, the night
was clear and there was no pollution. Truly an awesome sight!

It’s a privilege to share some of our God’s handiwork as we travel for Jesus. I especially
love wildflowers. Many times they are tiny, exquisite works of divine craftsmanship.
Here are a few samples:
Psalm 104:24
O LORD, how manifold are Thy works!
in wisdom hast Thou made them all:
the earth is full of Thy riches.

Never Lose an Opportunity
~
Never lose an opportunity
of seeing anything that is beautiful;
for beauty is God’s handwriting-a wayside sacrament.
Welcome it in every fair face,
in every fair sky,
in every fair flower,
and thank God for it as a cup of blessing.

The sign captivated my interest and seemed to suggest titles for a mystery thriller or a
western:
The Sunrise Caper at Valentine Ranch
Showdown at Valentine Ranch
Mystery at Valentine Ranch.

Anyway, the Lord is good and worthy of all our praise.

Miracles of Nature
The miracles of nature do not seem miracles because they are so common.
If no one had ever seen a flower,
even a dandelion would be the most startling event in the world.
