Greetings Friends and Family,

I am so glad you stopped by.

John 3:16-17

For God so loved the world,

that he gave his only begotten Son,

that whosoever believeth

in him should not perish,

but have everlasting life.

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world;

but that the world through him might be saved.

The young man testified that he was thankful that he was coming to church and learning about God.  He said if it were not for the Lord, he would probably be in prison.  He said, “I’m thankful I’m here in church and not in a prison cell somewhere.”

I wondered why he should say such a thing, but found out later that he doesn’t live in the greatest of neighborhoods and some young men like him end up that way.  He is only 18 years old.  He recently had a birthday.

Someone cares!  Someone genuinely loves them and they are a part of the family of God.  The young preachers who are helping to start the church take turns picking him and a friend up for church.  He has been coming for about a year and a half.

The Bible has a simple story.  God made man.  Man rejected God.  God won’t give up until he wins him back.  God will whisper.  He will shout…He will take away our burdens; He’ll even take away our blessings.  If there are a thousand steps between us and him, He will take all but one.  But He will leave the final one for us.  The choice is ours.

  • Just invite Jesus to come into your heart.

     That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and

    shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be

    For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth

    confession is made unto salvation.

    A simple heartfelt prayer will do.  He will hear you and save your soul.
