Greetings Dear Friends and Family,

In a recent sermon my husband shared the scripture:

John 21:25

And there are also many other things which Jesus did,

the which,

if they should be written every one,

I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written.

In his sermon, he went on to ask how many things has Jesus done for us that we don’t even know about?   We all can recall close calls where we could have been in a fatal accident or many close encounters with danger and yet we came through them unscathed.  There may even have been situations we weren’t aware of in which God protected us from serious injury or harm.

Recently on the way to conference, we were in the passing lane behind a semi when the driver somehow got his rig half on and half off the highway.  He was kicking up dirt and grass as he tried to regain control of his truck.  The median between the freeways dipped and it looked as if he might tip over.  I called on Jesus, very excitedly, “Help him Jesus, help him!” The Lord helped him and he was able to get back on the freeway and pass to the lane on the right ahead of the vehicle he was passing.  He seemed quite shaken, I may add,  as I looked at the expression on his face as we passed him by.  My husband said that the man pulled over as he watched him in his rear view mirror.  If he had  not regained control we could have been in a fatal collision, but the Lord was gracious and we continued on our way.  That was one situation we were well aware of, but how many times has the Lord done His wonderful works for us individually that we are unaware of?  How many volumes could be written about your life or mine if such incidents were known?  Not every situation may have involved danger, some have been times of miraculous provision, whether in finances, food, or other such necessities.

Isaiah 65:24

And it shall come to pass,

that before they call,

I will answer;

and while they are yet speaking,

I will hear.

Thank you for stopping by.
